Sleeping help!

My little one(6 months) used to be a great sleeper - would go down anywhere between 10/11 and wake up 8 the next day. With no rhyme or reason, we’re now lucky to get him down for 3/4 hours a night. Sometimes he’s awake multiple times throughout too. He wakes for a feed before going back down. We’re currently weaning him and he’s EBF. He’ll normally have 3 ‘meals’ a day - porridge, fruit purée at lunch & then dinner - but hasn’t dropped any feeds off the back of that and still stick to feeding him every two hours. Just feel like he’s constantly hungry and nothing sates him! Thought starting him on foods was meant to make things easier?! 😂Anyone else been through anything similar? And has any suggestions? He has his rare nights when he sleeps right through but not for a good few months now😴

Sounds very much like you have hit the 6 month sleep regression, aswell as possibly he isn’t satisfied with how much he is getting? Could be he is going through a growth spurt.

Have you been weaning for long? They say to introduce one meal at a time, each week. So breakfast for a week, then breakfast & lunch a week/2 weeks later if that makes sense?.

My LOnis the exact same. Would go down and sleep straight through. Couldn’t wake her now the last 4 night, she’s been up between 3/4. 🤦🏻‍♀️ xxx

definitely hit something! He’s been like this for probably about two month now! We’ve been weaning him since he was about 5 and a half months so been doing it for about a month. We started weaning because it seemed he wasn’t getting enough

Right?! It’s almost like having a newborn again🥲

Exactly rhe same here too. Used to sleep through every night but for the past 3 weeks is up multiple times for feeds. I just keep crossing my fingers that it's the 6 month leap and it will pass soon.

I'm the same here are you feeding when he wakes as that seems to be the only thing that will allow mine to go back to sleep and he's taking a full feed

@Hannah yes I'm feeding back to sleep every time 😴

My daughter is exactly the same, we started weaning last week and now sleep has gone Pete tong, she only seems to be sleeping for an hour at a time through the night! Praying for us mamas that we get more sleep soon!!

We have hit the 6 month sleep regression and I swear we’ve only just come out of the 4 month old one🤯 at least at 4 months he would settle back down but now as soon as we put him down he wakes back up or he’s up at 3am stalking to the bears on his feet 😂 or just up in general!
I don’t mind him waking up at all but the longest stretch we got last night was 2 hours 😩😩😩

Same for my boy a few weeks ago. We decided he was possibly overtired by going to bed late so we changed his schedule from 10pm bed time to 8pm. It has worked well so far! He does get up slightly earlier (5/6pm) and is still adjusting but in the long run we hope he will do 8-8!

P.S. After we made the change his naps are much better too!

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
