my baby is 3 1/2 weeks old exclusively bottle fed breast milk. when he was born i instantly had an oversupply. like a huuuuge oversupply. recently it has dropped a ton. i got lazy with the pumping since i had so much stored. i power pumped 4 days in a row when i noticed a drop, which helped so i stopped and then it dropped again. starting yesterday i began pumping more frequently since i noticed a HUGE drop in my supply. today i was really strict about my pumping schedule and did it every 3 hours. i practically pump until my breasts are empty every session. i also power pumped again today. every time ive pumped today ive gotten less and less milk. does it take a few days of a strict pumping schedule to increase it? should i keep trying to power pump every day? please tell me other tips on getting my supply back up. i’m doing everything i can to avoid formula. i’m so sad my supply dried up i don’t know what to do anymore.

Stick to a strict schedule - it can take a few days to increase. Do not stop or adjust this once your supply increases. It needs to be maintained until your supply regulates around 12 weeks.
Make sure you pump every 2-3 hours even at night or at least once at night. Pump until empty plus an extra couple of minutes until supply increases.
Eat oats every day, and you can try Fenugreek.
This early on, your supply will be influenced by your hormones. It really helps to pump the same time you feed or hold your baby. If you are unable to do this, make sure you can see your baby or look at photos of them.
Hope this helps xx

I stopped eating dairy and chocolate mints and my supply went up, now I am 6 months pp and I take more milkin eith water, it has oats, moringa and a few other things!
