My HV said avoid J&J like the plague 🫣

I really should’ve asked my HV at the 6 week check but I just forgot.
I’ve heard from pretty much everyone to avoid it, and like I said I never would’ve bought it!
Was just hoping I could use it rather than buy more 😢

My HV also asked me to avoid it, if baby isn’t reacting and you feel bad about throwing it maybe just finish it and then buy something else?

You could wait till baby is a little older to use them, or even use them on yourself!

My baby boy got a rash from Johnson baby bath and the doctor had to prescribe him a special soap for eczema

yes! I was literally thinking oh it can’t be that bad then if everyone’s buying it

Do we know what’s wrong with it?? I have been using it on my LO as we got lots as gifts but didn’t realise it was bad for them! 💔

I don’t think it’s necessarily bad for them!
I’ve heard it’s just not very naturally made and is full of a lot of perfumes and other chemicals so it can be really harsh on the skin.
I’ve heard of lots of babies reacting to it or having quite dry skin.
If your baby isn’t reacting to it then you’ll be fine, you’re not harming them by giving it to them.

We love using their products. I feel bad that’s it’s not good for him tho! He seems fine though. 😭

I scanned the Johnson and Johnson baby bath soap on the Yuka app and it came back as hazardous so there’s no way I’m using it on my baby. I’ve just been using it myself in the shower so it doesn’t go to waste.

I was gifted a few J&J shampoo bottles, I use them to wash my make up brushes lol 😅

Get rid! They’re still testing on animals! 😱

The shampoo smells soo good 😅. Our LO hasn’t had any reactions to it and his skin hasn’t dried out. I guess it depends on your baby 😊.
