Hey Mums ,
I have noticed few times that my 6 months old baby yawns while eating and I wonder why?
I feed him 30 -40 mins after Nap 1.
I googled but couldn’t find any satisfactory answer.

Eating is a big sensory event for an infant. It can be overwhelming and tiring to say the least. If you think something else is at play it's best to consult your doctors but I wouldn't be overly worried about it.

Occasionally if my baby gagged while he was eating, it seemed to trigger him to yawn 🤷🏻♀️

I noticed the same thing today! My baby tried something new with more texture and she gagged (very mildly) and yawned quite a lot!

The same happens for my baby, 8 months old, mainly when she is gagging then she yawns! And i see the big piece of food in her mouth that she was gagging on lol
