Right now, my baby naps whenever he fancies and sleeps through the night. However, I have trouble putting him to bed early.
He goes down around 7:30 pm/8 pm, then wakes up again around 8:30 pm/9 pm, stays awake until 10 pm, sleeps for 30 minutes, and is then up until midnight, making it really difficult for us to get an early night.
He is 5 months old, and I would like to start sleep training, as I’ll have to go back to work when he’s 9 months. I’d like him to sleep earlier and stay asleep, or at least wake up for a feed and go straight back to bed.
What can I do to help him sleep earlier?
Thank you.

I can't speak from personal advice but when I was reading about the clocks changing I came across this page which may be helpful:

You could probably try to implement something similar, like extending wake windows slightly or starting the day earlier etc. to shift the sleep pattern? My LO can start his night sleep anytime from 8pm to 11pm so I totally understand. On the plus side, defintely a HUGE positive that he sleeps through the night so a silver lining there. ☺️
