What you all doing with your 4 months old?

All I do at the moment is
-sing to her
-read to her
-tummy time
-playmat time
-sensory time (foil blanket, rattles, bells etc)

I change each wake window round a little bit in terms of how we play. I also have an almost 3 year old and he helps to entertain his sister 😂

She goes to bed around 8pm and wakes around 6am for a bottle before going back to sleep until around 8am/9am x

Our wake windows are about 2 hours and we start the day around 8:30am.

He wakes up and we have a feed, change, and dress him for the day. Then we have a little dance and sing which keeps him entertained enough for me to get dressed. He gets some time on the floor practicing his rolling and playing with some basic toys before he gets fed back to sleep for his first nap.

Naps are anywhere between 30 mins and 2 hours but no more than 3 hours of daytime sleep in total.

For the second wake window we are out in the pram looking at trees and birds and running errands. Might go to the library. Naps in the pram or back at home.

Third wake window is less structured. We practice rolling and tummy time, play with toys, do some of the bloom baby sensory songs on Spotify.

Fourth wake window is high energy time with daddy and keeping himself entertained on the floor while I make food, then we do his bedtime routine of bath, lullabies and bottle. In bed between 8-10pm.

Lots of reading
Funny faces in the mirror
Playing on our piano
