Hello, I am requesting advice and possible recipes or remedies. My son’s pediatrician called and told me that when they tested him for everything at his one year (plus, he had RSV- so they tested sicknesses too) and he came back as anemic (or slightly anemic) I can’t remember. I know a couple weeks ago WIC told us he was a 9.5 out of 11 levels for anemia so he is at least slightly anemic but I don’t know what to do….this boy is picky!!! I was spoiled with my older son, who’s almost 4, because he will eat mostly anything and everything…however…I could not get lucky again with my youngest. I do cook…I just made (turkey) “beef” enchiladas but he didn’t eat it and I think it was just so much spice. It wasn’t really spicy but he can’t tolerate a lot of spices if that makes sense ?
However, I only made them for him cuz he liked them before - I don’t know jesu to make - I’ve made chili…he won’t eat the kidney beans only some of the pinto..
I need recipes and ideas, I feel so bad but what do I do…I need easy recipes for a baby that doesn’t like vegetables unless there’s butter and salt and pepper…he used to tear veggies up as a baby with baby food but now he’s not having it unless it’s buttered green beans with garlic or corn…HELP
I will say, I won’t eat a lot of the meals cuz I’m trying to lose weight…is it bad if I don’t? Do I have to eat with him instead of feeding him? I’ve never had a baby this stubborn about food …he’s also been sick a lot lately, not sure if that has anything to do with it ? He’s 13 months

Our doctor prescribed an iron supplement for her to take.
But we were also told, plain cheerios (not the honey nut) give as a snack cause it’s 70% iron or something close to that. We were told to make bone broth and just give her that either straight up or pour it on some rice.
My girl doesn’t eat much food, she’ll chew it up, and then spit it out.
But the cheerios and rice she’ll eat so 🙌🏽🙌🏽 also the supplement made her very constipated. So we stopped it and plan to start it again soon just at 1/4 of the dosage, then work our way up.

I like to get the fortified (has iron) baby cereal and use it as flour +eggs+fruit and fry it like pancakes my son loves it and I know the cereal and eggs are good sources of iron
He’s allergic to eggs ☹️

Dang. Well you can always use something like Greek yogurt (or similar) for the same kind of thing? Greek yogurt also has protein and lots of good stuff. I hope you find the answer to your anxieties !
