Night sleeping

9 week old baby who just doesn’t sleep well at night.

My daughter is waking every 45 mins and I just don’t no what to do anymore I’m so tired! I do a bedtime routine she has a larger feed in the evening and goes down. I’ve tried dream feeding a top up but she won’t take it.
I’ve tried swaddling she likes her arms out
We have the room dark
Have white noise on which we only play at night
I try settling her in her crib every time she wakes but she just screams
Any advice would be amazing for this tired Mumma !

My baby was the exact same! You could try a galaxy light in your room my baby seems to love this rather than a dark room they sell them on Amazon or tik tok shop, it can help distract them until they fall asleep. Also a hot water bottle can help if you remove it as your about to put them in it can warm up the crib so they feel the warmth they would from you xx

I have a little nightlight and my baby loves it. She hated the darkness too it’s like she was waking up to check I was there as she couldn’t see anything as soon as I’d touch her she would drop back off but then I got the night light and she’s been fine since

Could it be her temperature she’s either cold or hot. I changed my daughter to a thicker tog swaddle and she sleeps a lot longer. I do a lower tog for the day time naps.

Even cosleeping (she will not go down in the next to me no matter what, trust me I’ve tried it all) we’ve had this for a couple weeks! I didn’t get more than 2.5 hours in a row for over a week and even that was rare.

Suddenly 2 nights ago it started getting better, she began with a four hour stint then every hour or two. Then last night she went almost 5 hours then almost 3!

There will be many ups and downs so just know there’s a light at the end of the tunnel (at some point or another)! My first started getting longer stints at 4 months but didn’t start sleeping through consistently, 11 hours straight every night, until 11 months.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
