Ever since my second trimester sexy time has slowed down and now in my third trimester it is non existent with my husband. He says it's because it's hard for him to get in to it knowing there's an entire baby inside me. I worry because pre baby we were super sexual and in general he's a sexual person. He continues to assure me that he still has those same feelings, it's just on pause because of the baby inside. Am I stressing over this too much or is there a cause for concern đ€š ?

My husband was same way. Now my daughter is here and are sex life is slowly returning. I wouldnât worry about it.

My husband is the same and Iâm ready to pop any day and my husband reminds me all the time that heâs still very attracted to me but just doesnât want to have sex, just incase. They get worried theyâll hurt the baby or something going wrong. Donât stress girl, once baby is here and the safe period is done, thereâll be no stopping him.

My partner was exactly the same too. As I entered my 3rd trimester he said he found it weird to be having sex when he knew the baby was in there. And we had sex 10 days PP !

My husband was the same until we had deeper conversation about it because my hormones were going crazyđ
He was scared about hurting the baby and all of that. So we had a conversation about my OB about it and she even told him that itâs better for us to continue having sex because it could help my body prepare for labor and just help me relaxđ

Yes we still had pregnancy sex I would be really pissed if I didnât coz my libido skyrocketed when pregnant, my hormones went through the roof. He also found me more attractive having bigger boobs bigger bum so w had no reservations having sex while pregnant- I would actually say that orgasms were easier and way more intense also. But. Many men genuinely think theyâre going to hurt the baby or just get turned off when baby kicks etc while doing the deed and canât wrap their head around âpoking the babyâs headâ (which theyâre not, if you show them the diagram of how far up the babyâs head actually is) but, for many men it only lasts when pregnant so hopefully, after you heal for 6w pp it should resume back to normal.
Thanks for the input ladies, definitely makes me feel better đ

See I feel a bit different like I think my partner does want to have sex but I really havenât had any libido and feel so uncomfortable in any position we get into. My back is hurting my belly is heavy and it just feels horrible to me, also I cannot see / reach down there to shave and tidy up!! Just feel so self conscious. Luckily he is so patient with me and has not pushed me at all but every week that goes by where we donât have sex I feel more and more guilty that Iâm letting him down and not being a good partner. Itâs such a battle đą
