Spotting at 8 weeks

Hey ladies I was looking for some advised or just confirmation that spotting is normal this early. I miscarried about 2 years ago and it had no pain just bleeding so now I’m extra on alert and just want to know if anyone has had the same experiences. Today I am a little crampy but otherwise I’ve been feeling fine :/

Hi! Congrats! Spotting can be normal but can also signal something is up. Have you seen your doctor or done an ultrasound yet?

i don’t wanna scare you but i would go get checked, i started spotting when i was pregnant last year and my doctor told me it was normal but i ended up losing my baby, it’s just better to be safe than sorry 💗

I have my first ultrasound appt on 12/9 and my initial ob appointment the 11th but I did call them last week and explain I’ve spotted two or 3 times and this is nothing something I went through with my full term pregnancy. It’s way less than a period. They advised to monitor and to call back in I’m in pain or clotting. it has picked up today and I’m not sure if it’s bc I was intimate this morning or if I should be going to the er after work

My first pregnancy at 13 weeks I attended a celebration of life and had cramping, which wasn't abnormal for me, but I did experience spotting and when I stood up I realized I saw fresh drops in the bowl, I went to the ER and it took 90 minutes to take pictures of baby because he was so active, all in all I was okay and Baby was okay.

I wouldnt think I would have a whole ton of movement at 8 weeks but I could be mistaken!

ah ok! I wouldn’t go to the ER unless you start to bleed really badly and soak through a pad every hour for 3 straight hours. Fingers crossed it’s just this baby getting nice and comfy

I think that’s the plan considering an er visit is 250 dollars per visit 😳and I just billed myself due to a swollen face from a tooth. It’s nothing compared to a period but I will keep an eye on it! I appreciate the advise ❤️

Omg, as I’m reading this, just a day before Thanksgiving I flew to Colorado from California, and the next day I went to the bathroom and I started bleeding bright red blood, period like. I am 7 weeks. I was panicking… I took a taxi and drove to the nearest big hospital. I was having very dark thoughts and was crying non stop. Then, when the ultrasound tech came in, she saw the baby’s good heartbeat, and that he was still there….🥹♥️♥️♥️🙏They told me I have Subchorionic hematoma, which can be often seen in some women. They tend to resolve on their own.. I’m only seeing my OB in like 3 days, and hopefully he will tell me it got resolved, but I’m worried of course. All I’m trying to say- try not to think the worst. Sometimes things happen but it is nothing terribly horrible…🙏♥️♥️♥️♥️

My provider said some spotting it’s normal , specially if it’s around the time you would have had your period.
I remember my first pregnancy I freaked out when it happened to me and went to the ER to be sure it was okay.

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

Baby names

My daughter‘s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look “small” at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
