How is everyone getting your first appointment?

Firstly congratulations mama ❤️Wonder have you managed to get your first appointment yet?
I have done a self referral this Monday, still haven’t heard back yet.
Unlike the first pregnancy, I immediately got referred to my antenatal clinic within two days back in early 2022. Apparently it has been closed, so i have to self refer to hospital.
I live in East London, 5 weeks so far xx

I’ve done my self referral, few days later I’ve got my 12 weeks scan appointment by post and on Tuesday this week call from a midwife to book my first appointment at 8 weeks.

I’m on the early pregnancy unit due to complications with my previous pregnancy so I’ve just had a scan at 5w3d I’ve got another at 7 weeks but they asked me today if I’d contacted local midwives which I have and they still haven’t got back to me. With my son it was so easy they booked me in for my 8 week appointment on the same phone call. I don’t think this self referral option is all that great.

I have a scan in two weeks when I’m at 6 weeks because of a previous ectopic

Hey! Registered the pregnancy last week (as soon as I found out) had to do it online - already different to when I had my son 2 years ago 😭 anyway, didn’t hear anything until last night; now have booking appointment scheduled for 31st, very exciting but just so eager to get that 12 week scan booked in 😭

I have my first midwife appointment on the 16th December but I won’t have my first scan until middle of jan when I hit 11/12 weeks. Although hoping to book a private on the week of the 17th December when I will be around 8 weeks to check on heartbeat then I will have to wait xx

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
