Is your baby waking for feeds or are you waking them?

He wakes

what time do you feed before bedtime? And how many hours do they go before they wake again?

It varies as I feed on demand but usually between 7 and 8. The most he has done is five hours

same here, lo 14 weeks - the most he has slept is for 5 hours, and it only happened in the last week - normally waking up every 1 to 3 hours

how many oz’s are you feeding? Maybe it’s not satisfying enough so he’s waking because he’s still hungry, or are you breast feeding?

Also 7-8pm maybe too early my boys last feed is usually 9-10pm then sleeps all night till 7-8am

It’s a lot more common that babies of this age wake as opposed to sleep through the night. It just seems a lot because of the online presence.
Also it’s usually down to temperament of each baby. I’ve done that same routine with all babies and they’ve all slept different. They all get there eventually x

Amen! Most babies our age don’t sleep through the night yet! Some do and great for them but they are still tiny - they’ll maybe have awful 4 month regressions who knows? There’s time yet! X

Mine is up every 2-3 hours still so I'm hoping I skip the 4 month regression instead as I really struggled with my 1st

not every baby goes through sleep regression

I didn’t say they all did?

I feel like sleeping through the night is so rare, parents feel the need to mention it a lot more often than those with regular feeding schedules. My LO wakes up every 2-3h and I still feel lucky to be bagging those hours of sleep regardless

My lo was sleeping through the night but now I feel like she’s starting the 4 month sleep regression.
