Was officially diagnosed in November & trying birth control to stop my period

I wanted to share my experience with endo since finding out I have it incase it helps anyone. Before the surgery, my two worst symptoms were sharp debilitating pain during my ovulation week and severe endo belly and stomach and pelvic pain the week before and the week of my period.

I had the surgery on 11/11 and my dr. removed endo from my ovary, bowels, stomach and uterus. I was also diagnosed with pmdd around the same time. Since then I started “slynd” where I skip my period hoping it would help just regulate everything.

So it’s now been two months and so far the ovulation pain is completely gone and my mood swings and severe days of depression are gone. I still have painful cramping but it’s not that sharp fall on the floor feeling and I still have endo belly almost everyday. The worst symptom since starting slynd is severe irritability almost all the time. I’m constantly clenching my jaw and easily aggravated. I want to be by myself all the time in silence. It’s the only time I feel calm. I know birth control can take time to adjust to so I’m going to muscle through but I am just so shocked and amazed to have such drastically different symptoms since having the surgery and starting this birth control.

I am stage 4 endometriosis. I removed my right ovary and fallopian tube . I thought I was not able to get pregnant because it caused me to have a low ovarian reserve . I did a at home kit back in April last year and I now have a beautiful baby girl . Be kind to yourself endo is not the end all be all for us 🙏🏽🫶🏽

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
