Moving to toddler bed

Do you plan to use the same crib for the baby? If that’s the case I’d do a floor bed or twin off the floor bed I wouldn’t go into a toddler bed. At this point they are getting pretty long for a crib anyway that a twin size mattress would be the best on the floor or on an actual bed frame

Yes. I am planning to use same crib.. okk… anything else I should be consider ? I am also planning for potty training for my son

My youngest will be 3 in March, my husband transitioned her crib to a toddler bed about a month ago and I was so worried about taking this step but honestly she’s doing great. I think you should definitely give your son time to transition just in case he doesn’t do well, but you’ve got this momma!

I moved my son over in October, i highly recommend guard rails if they are active sleepers and going in a regular height bed. To avoid them rolling onto the floor.
