My husband had surgery and will be recovering for the next six weeks. He is not allowed to pick up either of our twins. I have a sitter for a few hours 2-3 days a week but tonight was the first time trying to do bedtime alone.
They are both usually held by either me or my husband, drink their bottle, and go to bed drowsy but awake. Tonight they fought and I felt so bad because I couldn’t hold them both. I’m so grateful this is the first time I’ve had this particular challenge, but these next 4-6 weeks are going to be hard. Any tips for bedtime alone?

I've done bedtime alone since they were 2 weeks old he kisses them goodnight and then I put them to bed cause he works at 3am, so when they were little I'd prop them up on the zpillow and feed them both to sleep then transfer to their cribs, around 8-9m when they finally held their own bottles I started just laying them in their cribs with their bottles while I read them 5 books and sing 4 songs, I still do it to this day and they're almost 2 it's just whole milk in a sippy now 🫶🏻 I hope you find something that works for you guys!
