Fighting bed time

Is anyone else’s 12 month suddenly fighting bed time. Screaming for hours, can’t self settle at all but has previously self settled for months! Not sure what’s going on but I’m losing my mind. My little boy is getting around 5 hours sleep at night because of the constant crying! We’ve tried calpol, nurofen, vapour plug, routine has been the same for months and months and can’t work out what’s causing this.

Could it be that your routine is the same but he isn’t? Is he needing more or less sleep? I find if my child wakes up in the night it’s because he hasn’t had enough daytime sleep

Yes, and it was because my little one dropped a nap. I thought it was too soon too, by she now naps from midday or 1pm for nearly 3 hours sometimes, or at least 2 hours minimum

My little one dropped a nap and is only down to one 2 hour nap a day and that has really helped with our bedtimes x

Thank you! He had his jabs a two weeks again and it seems to have been since then but he is also fairly well in himself so I’m very confused. Maybe it is the naps and we need to move him down to one! Sounds like this could be it? Strange it come from
No where though

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣

6 month old autistism

My 6 month old makes no eye contact with me and doesn’t respond when I call him. Can this just be a phase or personality trait as apposed to autism
