Spouses and feeding time

Do any of ladies have husbands or boyfriends who don’t/ won’t feed the baby ? My boyfriend says because he’s so big and she so little that it’s hard for him to sit her upright to feed her sometimes (she’s 2 weeks old) I guess he’s scared because he says whenever he feeds her she starts choking and coughing a little bit so he always passes her to me to feed her stating that I just do it better because she basically fits perfect in my arm and I’m able to adjust her for eating better. But he has no problem helping out in basically every other area taking care of me and her. He makes bottles, changes diapers, holds her a lot, talks to her lays her on his chest for skin to skin. So I know it’s not like he’s avoiding bond time or taking care of her. It’s just he doesn’t like feeding her

No. Give baby back to him and make him learn to handle this from now. Get that fear out the way immediately.
This sounds like when we are younger and we say our younger siblings make the lemonade best, so they should do it. The whole time, we are just lazy. Save yourself and tell him he needs to get involved feeding. Show him how and walk away.

If you have an emergency, what will he do? He needs to learn.

Leaky nappy help

What nappies are you using to stop leaks?? We use pampers ultra dry size 5, and for the past few nights he has lashed through and we’ve had to completely change him during the night. Last night he leashed through twice!! He sleeps on his front and stays leaks through at the top of his leg where the tabs connect. Didn’t know whether to size up, he has a bit of a belly on him but he’s smack in middle of weight guidance so shouldn’t need too

Am I wrong?

I’ve been wanting to add more garden beds to my garden. Husband says “hey do you want to go to Home Depot to get that wood for the garden beds.” Cool I’m excited I’ve been wanting to get this done for awhile.

We get there and we’re picking out wood and I make 2 comments about how I don’t like how 2 pieces of wood look that he picked out. And he says if you’re going to be this picky then u can do this yourself.

I literally made 2 comments and mind you I’m the one paying for the wood.

I felt dismissed and like my opinion didn’t matter and if I wanted to have an opinion then I need to do it myself. Like what?

It was rude and not okay. Am I wrong? Am I overreacting?

He thinks it was fine that he said that.

5.30am wakeups 😫😴

My 15 week old has started waking up about 5.30am and is really hard to settle back down - it’s like he thinks it’s time to wake up for the day. He used to go to bed at 9pm and was up at 8am but now he goes to bed between 7.30-8pm as he’s knackered by then but waking up at 5.30am😴. Any advice to get him to sleep a little longer in the morning?! Even an extra hour would be lovely 🤣
