Also struggling with this

Have you tried a Moses basket instead of next to me? When I had my first LO he was the same and perhaps was overwhelmed with the size of it and the moses basket seemed to help :)

We had an awful night last night but now she's downstairs in her moses basket she's absolutely fine so going to take that up tonight and give it a go

Maybe try swaddle before putting down so LO in deeper sleep? Or seen some people put the cot cover in their top for a bit so it smells like you? My little girl was the same but has now started going in it xx

My 2 week old was the same for the first week or so, now he’s starting to settle in his next to me. I make sure he is completely full, let him feed in his sleep sack, burp him and let him fall asleep in my arms and then transfer him making sure his bum touches the mattress before his head. This routine seems to be working for now 🤞🏼🤣

We have this and I think a lot of it is because she’s cluster feeding and is extra fussy at night because she sleeps anywhere in the day 😂 but also the mattress in the next to me is so cold and uncomfortable for her. So making sure she’s cosy and warm and very drowsy helps when I lie her down and I’ve been using white noise too. Think longest stretch she did in it was an hour in it which was a lot more than the nights before! Just going to persevere x

Maybe warm the crib with a hot water bottle before putting baby in. Gently rock the crib if possible too, or hand on chest when they stir. Other than that just stick to perseverance! It’s a lot for them to get used to, and it may be that they need more gradual separation from you, but it will get better.
