Schedules

Hello everyone, I just wondered if anyone would mind sharing their daytime schedules with me?? Think we’re currently trying to navigate form one nap to two 🥴 my little one is sleeping in until a bit later 7:30/8 but then only having a quick nap so her later wake window is 6/7 hours! Need her to have a longer one nap really as she’s so used to two shorter naps. Kind of glad this is the last time we have to sort out nap math and dropping by a nap 😂 but also sad how have our babies got to one nap?!?

Generally waking 6.45 till 7am
But this past week waking 6.15 don't know if she's getting ready for the clock change. Has lunch at 11.30 then goes straight down for a nap. Naps 2 to 2.5 hours at home. 1hr to 1hr 45 mins at nursery. Bed time anywhere between 6.45 and 7.15 depending if in nursery or not. I say they need to be up at 7am at latest to build up enough sleep pressure for a longer nap x

I definitely miss the afternoon nap to get stuff done, but the trade off is being able to have a good break during the day and get stuff done, and stay out longer before and after nap! 6-6.5 hours would be our usual wake window before bed so I wouldnt worry too much.

Wake around 7.15
Milk 7.30
Breakfast 8.30
Lunch if nursery/snack if home 11.30
Nap 12, for 1.5-2 hours
Lunch if home/snack if nursery 2/2.30
Dinner 5.45
Supper if needed 7.15/7.30
Milk and bed 8pm

We're in the process of dropping down to one nap but have been for about a month because he keeps getting ill and then needing the two naps for more rest.

We're up at 6am. Breakfast at about 7am. Lunch at about 11.30am then nap once finished around 12. Sleeps for about 2 hours so up at 2pm. Has a little post nap snack. Then gets ready for bed around 6.30 ❤️

For the breastfeeding moms

What drink should I choose instead of soda? I’ve been drinking a lot of soda and sometimes water, but I want something bubbly to drink while breastfeeding. I don’t like seltzer water or flavored versions. Please help me find a drink.

thoughts…

it’s my birthday in a few weeks and i’ve just found out my partner has bought me some lingerie… a few years ago this would have been fine, except i’ve just had 3 babies in 16 months (singleton and twins) and im currently 8 weeks postpartum… i currently hate how my body looks and know i won’t want to wear anything like it.
i’ve also recently discovered he is watching porn and pleasuring himself nearly every day… this isn’t something i would normally mind, but i think the frequency he is doing it makes me feel “icky”. it feels like he’s bought me the underwear to make me more appealing to him, without thinking about whether it would be something i’d want.

am i just being overly sensitive..?

Sleeping bags

My newborn hates a swaddle of the love to dream swaddle. So was thinking of a sleeping bag.

What tog do you have your baby in that is always a warm baby, rarely cold?
My girl runs hot all the time and normally has a thin blanket on but she is constantly moving so it gets kicked off

Don't know what to do

Hey im a first time mom to my baby girl. she is 20 days old and last night was up most the night. I've had 2 hours sleep total im so tired but she won't sleep at all. She will wake up and have some of a bottle and then when I put her down after burping her she will start crying half an hour later for more. She's on 6 ounces of hungry baby formula. Im just not sure why this is happening. Could it be sleep regression?

Breastfeeding past 12 months

Guys im getting irritated. Ive been ebf now 8 months and my mum keeps saying in diff ways that “oh ur mummys gonna wean you off the breast soon” when shes 12 months.

And today shes telling me you cant breastfeed past 12 months.

And when i said i am going to and want to reach at least 2 years. Shes not saying “oh so u wanna breastfeed till 5”

Like what?

And then she’s saying because i still have baby weight i should go on manjaro. But obvs cant do that while breastfeeding.

So cant you still loose weight while breastfeeding past 12 months through diet and exercise?

Is anyone else’s family saying this about breastfeeding past 12 months? My mums just making me feel like im doing something wrong.

Is it not normal? I feel just annoyed because this is my baby and if im good with still breastfeeding her and if she still wants to breastfeed why should i stop.

How does breastfeeding past 12 months look like ?

Thank you! My rants over💗💗

Wake window ideas

Hi All my LO is 9.5 weeks, sleeps really well at night (a 5-7 hour stretch, followed by a 3-4 hour) but that means she is awake lots in the day, she’ll have 30-40 minute naps and is wide awake 1.5-2 hours at a time, before I can even think about trying to get her back to sleep.
I’m just looking for age appropriate wake window ideas, she hates lying under her baby gym, she’ll do probably max 10 mins a day, we do tummy time, but again she’s not a fan. She loves just sitting and chatting with me face to face and reading books, we probably read 6 a day.
I’m open to all ideas please
