Does anyone else’s LO just not want to nap during the day? We’re very fortunate he sleeps well at night but he’s basically awake all day with maybe a couple 15 minute contact naps across the whole day..

Were the exact same! She’s 6 weeks old and never really slept in the day but at the night, we have to wake her for feeding. She gets grouchy towards the evening because she’s so tired and just fights it🤣x

Yep!! I posted about this today too!

My LO is 7 weeks and she barely sleeps at all in the day, has short naps if we are in the car or having a cuddle but I think that is helping her sleep better at night. She sleeps from 9:30pm until around 6am with 1 wake up.

Our little boy was like this and so we introduced a dummy and this has helped us get him into a bit of a routine for wake time then sleeping as I can tell he was tired but he would fight it! Then I felt guilty he wasn't getting the sleep he probably needed. But now I worry I'll miss feeding cues if he has a dummy 🙈 thankfully doesn't need it at night and sleeps ok-ish. All trial and error isn't it!

I had this and I found my baby was struggling to sleep at night (overtired maybe?!) so I really prioritised getting him to nap more during the day… for us the sling has been amazing, now he naps for 2-3 hours at a time in the sling during the day and sleeps much better at night.

I've found this too! I've found taking him out in the pram or putting him in the sling really helps! Unfortunately that means no rest for you though x
