I'm almost 32 weeks pregnant now, and we also have a 17mo. The overthinking is starting to kick in on how I'm going to manage logistically with 2 under 2.
With our first it was quite relaxed. We had plenty of contact naps. I managed to stay in the bedroom a lot with him, so feeds/naps were easy. He wasn't really one who liked to be put down for naps in the day though and I'm worried our second will be the same.
Where do you put your baby with a toddler around?
We do have a carrier and a baby rocker, but is that enough? Our first still likes to sit in the rocker (it's a chair too) and move it around, so I'm worried he won't it when the baby uses it.
I have thought about getting another more lightweight next to me crib to have down in the living room/kitchen. Has anyone else done this?
Any tips welcome 😅

I had an 18 month old when my second baby was born. We had our next to me in the bedroom and a moses basket in the living room so we could put down baby in there. We faced the issue my first born wanted to lay in the moses whenever he could and it was empty

Get a stretchy wrap. My newborn lived in it, fed, slept etc as then they were safe, weren't woken by the toddlers and I could concentrate on them

I have the same fears. My son is very much a mama’s boy. I told my hubby we will have to focus on putting our bby girl in the bassinet bc we can’t just kick him out of the bed. And I’m not sleeping with a toddler AND an infant in the bed.

Same boat, currently 33+5 weeks with a 17 month old. I am planning to use the wrap, but I am nervous about watching an active toddler with a newborn 😬. Following to hear others’ advices.
