My baby isn’t interested at all!
Baby is 6 months and we have started introducing some food. Purées and BLW.
Baby can sit up, no trust and brings EVERYTHING to mouth. However just won’t touch food at all. We have tried pre loading spoon, BLW and spoon feeding ourselves but baby just pushes away and won’t bring any food to own mouth…. Has anyone got any tips?

no advice but just to say my girl is the exact same! everything goes into her mouth but she won’t even look at food 😂

if they’re not interested, i think the advice is just wait and try again in a few weeks. technically they can be completely fine on milk until 1 so it’s not anything to worry about! x

Yeah it's totally normal, I tried with my first at 6 months and wasn't really interested.. kept offering and after 2 weeks he seemed to get it then xx

Try home made foods that are warm and porridge. Stick to plain foods to start off with.
At first you feed your baby and make it fun and have lots of praise.
Give your baby some food to hold while your feed them.

My first wasn’t bothered about food at all until she hit about 7/8 months!! And she was a 90 percentile baby. My second is a 2 percentile baby, she’s diddy and yet is so food orientated and has been since I started weaning at 5 months. Honestly I wouldn’t worry! She’ll get there x

Our little one is the exact same, she was not interested in anything… we’ve started doing baby rice so that she at least gets use to the texture first

We’ve just started weaning our LO this week. I found when I approached her with the spoon to start with she wouldn’t take it. I put a little bit on my finger for the first couple of tastes, then I introduced the spoon and she took it. She has taken it ever since unless I introduce a new food. Then I just repeat it with my finger and again after a few goes, she will take the spoon. ☺️ I hope this helps x
