do braxton hicks lower ?

i can’t tell if this is me getting closer and closer to labour or not. i’ve been having braxton hicks for about two/three weeks, progressively they’ve gotten more frequent and the tightening have always been at the top of my tummy or centre of tummy, uncomfortable, making it hard to breathe etc. but this morning i’ve woken up with cramping/tightening low down like under my uterus? i know it’s not full on contractions yet because they’re not super painful and they’re irregular, my contractions with my first were so painful so i know the difference. but these are slightly painful or uncomfortable and, again, a lot lower down to my other tightening/cramping. did anyone experience braxton hicks go lower down and go into labour soon after? X

Experiencing this too and last I checked at the hospital they said I hadn’t started having contractions. Was just told to bath and use paracetamol. Been having it on and off since Friday

gosh that’s so annoying 😅 just a guessing game as to when the real thing starts i guess! with my first, my waters broke five minutes before contractions started so it was very obvious labour started, so i keep worrying this one will start different and i won’t realise im in labour haha x

It’s really a waiting game😂😂😂😩😩😩can’t wait for baby to be here. This is my first baby so don’t know what to expect 😂

My midwife told me that unlike normal contractions BH can be dependent on baby’s position when I was feeling them in my back. Maybe it’s that? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.

Reduced movements

26 weeks and haven’t really felt little baby all day, she’s usually super active & I have a posterior placenta so I feel her all the time usually. I did feel her ever so briefly earlier right down into my pelvis. I was at maternity triage the other night with tummy cramps but everything was fine and so was baby. What should I do? I don’t want to feel like a nuisance?
