transition to blankets

my 18 month old is still wearing sleep sacks but he’s close to growing out of them. I was debating on sizing up sleep sacks or just go to a blanket.
Any thoughts? he moves a lot so IDK if the blankets will stay on him.

If you use blankets, what size?
He still sleeps in his crib.
Last year he slept better with a lightweight sleep sack than no sleep sack for summer.

We got rid of the sacks by 15 months because he'd play with the zipper, and I was afraid he'd faceplant into the rails in one. But I know ppl love them. He uses a crochet blanket. Sometimes he stays covered, others he doesn't.

We did it during naps first to see how he did, then overnight

Oh for size it might be 2ft by 3ft, he's napping now so I can't check it

We got rid of the sleep sack almost 2 months ago. I was worried too because she moves so much but she seems to move under the blanket or rolls back and forth with it. I still dress her in long sleeves and pants pjs and socks so she stays covered. The blanket is the size of those milestone picture blankets, not sure the actual size but pretty decently sized.

Mine still used a sleep sack with like 2-3 blankets and 2-3 stuffies 😂 I have a 18-24 sleep sack so it’s very long still and she loves sleeping with her blankets ever since she was 4 months old and more recently the stuffies

Around 13 months we just kinda gave him some pillows and a comforter in a big boy bed and watched the baby monitor very closely. He’s now 16 months and sleeps like a toddler, tucks himself him and just rests. We use a heavy sleep sack as well

Self settling

Any tips or advice of how to teach 6.5month old to self settle? I’m up multiple times in the night to cuddle her back to sleep and put the dummy in. I understand she will wake up and want a cuddle etc but any tips on self settling would be appreciated 🥰

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Baby losing weight

Hi all, it's been a long time since I had a baby (my son is 15!). My daughter is 10 days old and was 9lb born, she has since lost weight at every appointment and is at a 12% loss. I am breast feeding every two hours for over an hour and topping her up every feed. I pump and can get 60ml in 10 minutes so I know my supply is okay. Anyone had this before? Can give me some tips? I currently feel like I'm letting my baby down.

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?
