I absolutely hate my anxiety sometimes. I’m trying to arrange my sons christening for next year when it’s his first birthday, and had emailed the father of the church, he gave me a number to give him a call today to start making arrangements and he’s put the date in the diary already. I have been sat here for the last 10 minutes trying to bring myself to call but for some reason I am super anxious and feel sick? I am probably going to just do it after I’ve posted this, and be a big brave girl lol, but how do you guys deal with anxiety? particularly when you need to make phone calls to people etc, because it honestly feels crippling and I feel ill, but I know it needs to be done and I’ve just got to do it and I’ll feel better after I’ve done it but I don’t know how to cope with the before. (my current predicament is an example, I always get anxiety like this before doing certain things)

Anxiety can be so tough. I get it sometimes too, and logically I know there’s nothing to be worried about, but it’s hard to get that message across to my body and I get a lot of anxiety symptoms, like an upset stomach. Generally I do just power through and do what is making me anxious as I don’t want to let it stop me from having new experiences etc. I also find it helpful to frame it around my children, as I never want my anxiety to hold them back. But if your anxiety is really impacting you and your lifestyle then do try and find someone to talk to about it (GP or therapist etc).
