I am 37 weeks (will be 38 on Friday) and for the last few days I have had extreme fatigue. Like first trimester tired but on steroids!
Week 35-36 I had a good few signs of my body preparing for labour. Had diarrhea, brown discharge when wiping, lost small bits of mucus plug, had nausea, period like pains, lower back ache etc. I was convinced I would be giving birth soon. But those have all gone away in the 37th week and I am left with just extreme fatigue.
Even my nesting urge has gone. Last week I was building my moses basket and decorating my spare bedroom. This week I can barely do anything. Anyone else?? 🫠

Had on off contraction type pains for weeks, last week mucus plug went away, was nesting and scrubbed my skirting boards clean. Now everything’s ready, nothing. No more contractions. Still having the loose stools and pressure in pelvis but that’s all.
Hey I’m 38 weeks pregnant on Sunday. I feel exactly the same, last week I had so much energy however this week I am totally exhausted. Can barely do anything.
I did some research and it’s very normal for this to happen before labour starts.
Our body’s are telling us to rest as much as we can to save energy for labour. I’ve also had period pains and loose stools so I don’t think it will be long until LO is here x
