Hi, I was wondering what people’s thoughts are on 2 above car seats. I had a Nuna infant carrier with my son and was really unhappy with the positioning and he constantly screamed in the car. We ended up moving him into his next car seat at 4 months old.
I’ve seen both of the seats in the shop and unsure what the main differences/benefits/negatives of both are? Basically which one should I get 😂
Thanks 😀

I bought the cybex cloud t, not got it yet but it looked fab in the showroom. I had the maxi Cosi marble last time (another lie flat) and hated it but we love our cybex Pallas for the 3 year old so went with cybex again x

I’ve gone for the cybex cloud t mainly because of the extension function it has where baby can lie flat (when out of the car) and there’s no time limit either. Not sure if Maxi cosi has this though. I also saw the cybex lasts longer age wise (I think) but overall reviews were better for cybex from what I saw x

I’ve got cybex cloud T. I can’t actually remember why as we bought it a while ago but it seemed the most functional and safe x

I’ve gone for the maxi-cosi pebble 360 pro 2, it does have the lie back function that others have mentioned same as the cybex.

I love the cybex cloud, because you can recline it back when baby is sleeping.

I like both, but prefer the look of the Maxi cosi as it looks more compact and the fact that it can slide towards you and etc when on the isofix.
I've chosen to go with the Cybex Cloud T as it's more practical in terms of lasting longer, (age wise) and extends further than the Maxi Cosi Pebble so the baby will be more comfty.
Overall, the Cybex Cloud T appears to have better reviews and has won awards for safety and etc.

I have been told the Cybex Cloud T is the safest one, for this and the lie flat option we have got this. Also go with the plus one, it’s much nicer material!

Not what you asked but I bought the Cybex cloud G because I couldn’t see much if any difference with the T and it was a lot cheaper. From what I could tell, cloud G is lighter to carry at 3.9 kg vs the cloud T is 4.5kg. Both recline, however the G is a semi recline and the T is a full recline. Cloud G is airline approved whereas Cloud T isn’t I don’t think. The main difference I could find is slightly different fabric but I’m fine with the fabric on the G so it’s not something I was bothered about. Like the T, the cloud G also scored 1.7 or 1.8 at ADAC safety testing with the base so just something you might want to consider. I also looked at the pebble one but the price was the final decider for me after I’d compared all the other bits. I’m pregnant with my first baby so haven’t actually tried it out yet to review the fit unfortunately.

In the end I think I paid £289 from mamas and papas for the Cloud G I-size and the base. Vs it was looking like £450ish for the cloud t and base at the time.

Thanks so much everyone, all your insights have been mega helpful and I think I’ve been swayed to Cybex Cloud, which is good because it is cheaper too 😂 x

We've got for the Cloud T too xx
