So my youngest is having a hard time with his emotions and is struggling to express these (something he's always struggled with) but just recently at home and school he's showing some challenging behaviour. And it's getting me down as we are all helping. But as a mum I'm finding the behaviour hard. I'm also audhd so I don't know if that's making it harder to cope. We give lots of praise especially when he helps as he likes to do that and is a loving character. Just looking for mums to chat to who can relate my lad is 8.

I know this is just covering adhd, but this book was really helpful for me to understand better and how or why to put strategies in place. She gives some great practical tools. Highly recommend!

Hi Hayley
Can I ask you to please give me an example of what happened recently to trigger this post. Before the incident, during it and how you responded and I’ll be happy to help you. You can send me a private message as well. Always here to help 🙏🏻❤️

@Ghitta thank you I'll have a look at that 🙂 @Celia Kibler it's alot of things. It's hard to give an example other than knowing my son is struggling.

I understand and I’m sure he is. I’ll be doing a talk at the ADHD Thrive Festival today at 10am EST ( it’s live on FB but you can rewatch the recording) that you may find very helpful. You attend by joining the FB group and the speakers will be in that group presenting each day, now through next week. Go to… https://www.facebook.com/share/g/16aakJooBo/?mibextid=wwXIfr
