Hiii. Just looking for some advice/feedback. I'm currently breastfeeding my 7 month old but it's getting harder everyday because she's so distracted and doesn't want it as much. She doesn't have teeth yet but squeezes my nipple between her lips and pulls and shakes her head and it really hurts. Is this common??? Do you just power through it?? Did this make anyone stop BFing?? Is it just a phase. I can only imagine how much more painful it will be when she actually has teeth š¬

Mines 7.5 months and I find he does best in a dark quiet room with a sound machine on. Mines likes to grab and pinch my Arriola as I'm feeding but I've found making the ouch sound and upset sounds he's slowly understanding those emotions. I've even pretended to cry and he stopped.

I would take her off when she "bites" and say "no biting mommy". Then try again when she is settled. She may need a quiet area to feed.

Mine has one tooth and it doesnāt hurt to bad yet . But she also likes to play with her toes or my hair or a bracelet while sheās feeding so sheās not distracted to much

It is normal. It sucks though, I have been there too. Try dark or darker room, no distractions, a toy or stuffed animal that baby only gets when breastfeeding. If keeps biting , remove breast and offer a teether. Try breastfeeding after a few minutes.
