Baby’s gender
I’m 16 weeks now and have done a private ultrasound to know the baby’s gender these weekends. Glad to announce - it’s a boy!
I kinda knew it from the day one I suppose and it’s been not a big surprise for me, however I felt like I wanted a girl slightly more. And still - I am so very happy! I thought I’d be at least disappointed and was preparing myself for any kind of hormonal emotions, but I was just very happy and excited - and still am 😅🥰
Was your baby’s gender the same as you thought? Were you disappointed?
The only thing bothering me now is that I have NO idea of what is it to have a baby boy or to be a boy mom. Is anyone could help with any idea of how is it and what to expect?

My little boy is eight weeks old, before I ever fell pregnant I always thought I would want a girl first as I’m quite girly myself. I never really thought about a boy when thinking about pregnancy and being a mum however as soon as I found out I was pregnant for some reason something changed and a little part of me was hoping for a boy when we popped to the Cannon and saw blue me and my husband were over the moon! Being a boy, mum is already so much fun and the thought of known if I get my little girl one day, she will have a big brother makes me even happier. Xx
As someone who works in a childcare , I see boys as more active . They like to play with dolls ( babies as they call them), blocks, vehicles,Dino’s and are super active.
Everyone told me that I’m having a boy and most people still think I am . I’m having a girl 😂
I've got 2 boys already & having my 3rd!
My oldest (15) was always so quiet & quite timid. My 10 month old is WILD! They're the complete opposites it's crazy!
I totally love my boys & wouldn't change them for the world. They're both proper mums boys (even my 15 year old 😅)

I am happy to have a boy, but I still want to have a baby girl in the future so much!
@Maria 2nd one i was wanting a boy! I had a traumatic delivery and now high risk. They've spoke about a hysterectomy and then I think i was a bit gutted I potentially won't have a girl!
I'm so grateful for my boys! All going well & waiting a few years *if* we were to try again, I'd be wanting a girl!

I thought I would have a girl with both mine. I had some gender disappointment with both after finding out because I’m a bit of a girly girl but now I couldn’t imagine not having my two little boys! 🥰 you’ll get so many opinions on boys and girls but what I’ve found are kids are kids despite the gender lol. Some boys are crazy, some girls are calm, some girls are wild & some boys are timid. All kids are different lol!
My first is a boy and he is the most loving kind soul, a little feral at times but he’s a toddler 😂 I found out my second is a girl today and I’m shocked. I never thought I’d have a girl so I feel so unprepared!
My 3 year old is feral and bounces off the wall 😂 bug the sweetest little thing ever constant cuddles and kisses. He might climb round the back of the sofa to get to me but it’s still very sweet 😂
