My 13 mo usually goes to bed around 7:30-8:00pm and used to wake up 6:30am-7am. In the last month, he’s up at 5-5:30am— does anyone have any suggestions on how to adjust his schedule or is this normal for this age? Thank you!

What are his naps like??

I’ve been having exactly the same problem! Doesn’t help that dad wakes up around that time as well work and we co sleep.

Going through the exact same and I think I might be dying 🤣😭 he’s on 1 nap but is exhausted by 5/6pm but can’t fit that second nap in which I think is the problem 😭
on average 1-2 naps/day both 1hr-1.5hr

Having the exact same problem with my 11months old

So my little boy was like this last week for a few mornings.
So we capped his first morning nap to 30 mins as it was getting too long.
His schedule is
6:30am wake up
9-9:30 nap 1 (doesn't always have this)
1pm Nap 2 for about an hour/hour and a half
Then a nice long wake window before bed, normally 4 or 4:30 hours

Asked heal baby care app and sharing in case it helps:
"It's not uncommon for toddlers to experience changes in their sleep patterns, especially around this age. To help adjust your child's schedule, consider gradually shifting bedtime later by 15-30 minutes every few days until you reach your desired time. Additionally, ensure that the room is dark and quiet in the morning to encourage longer sleep, and try to maintain a consistent daily routine, including naps, which can help regulate their sleep cycle.
If your child is waking up too early, you might also try a gentle wake-up routine, where you stay with them until it's time to get up, reinforcing that it's still sleep time. Have you noticed any changes in your child's daytime routine or environment that might be affecting their sleep?"

I have shifted my child’s bed time by an hour and he still wakes up at 5:30! And we cosleep and I try to keep sleeping but once he’s up, he’s up and nothing will change that. I’ve learned not to bother trying. I put him down and let him play in the room.
