I got my gender ultrasound done at 24 weeks I'm now 35 and ever since I've been having a very strong feeling, like insanely strong, that the ultrasound was wrong and I'm actually having a girl. I do have another ultrasound on the 27th and it's my last one for this pregnancy. Anyone else have this feeling when they were pregnant and if so were any of you right?

Did you do nipt?

Im confused are u having A boy or a girl

Yes. I was wrong both times 😂

Have you not seen the babies genitals yet from ultrasound?

I had a very strong feeling it was a boy but NIPT and 4 ultrasounds kept showing it’s a girl haha

Did they say anything about not getting a clear picture of the genitals? I don’t think think that is something they get wrong too often tbh 😅

@Mercedes idk that's why I'm so lost 😭 the ultrasound says a boy, but I have like almost a brain chemistry altering feeling that it's not a boy

@Sierra where I'm from they don't show you that stuff, they will get frustrated if you even ask it's dumb

I thought for SURE I was having a boy both times. Both girls ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I even convinced myself I was having twins with my first and there was a hidden second sac. Nope. 😂

Usually you get another ultrasound around 36 weeks. When you see your doctor again ask to get another ultrasound.

There’s a blood test they can give you that checks definitively. I’d imagine they’re usually right though

Uhhh did they not show you it’s genitals

Swore i was having a boy belly shape size position gave boy but im having a girl double checked 3 times lol maybe its because thats what i wanted so i didnt get it my rainbow baby is a babygirl

You have a boy already and maybe you really want a girl and your mind is not accepting it’s another boy?
