Labour 2nd time round

I had quite a traumatic labour with my first and currently pregnant with my second (5 months).

What was everyones experience 2nd time round? I hear it can be quicker and your body knows how to push more?

I am excited to meet the baby but I am so scared this time round😩

Second time was so much easier and a lot quicker. My only problem was she was back to back which made pushing her out very long and tiring.

So much easier and quicker! My first I was induced, it took 18ish hours from start off induction and 45 mins pushing. Second was not induced, 24 hrs early labor but once we got to hospital, was done in 4 hrs, only 8 mins pushing

So muchhhhh easier and quicker.
First was a nightmare, I had an induction and ended up with an episiotomy, 2 tears loooots of stitches and I had to have vaginoplasty 8 months later.

This time around, 4 hours from the moment my water broke and 45 mins once I arrived at the hospital (Went from 3cm to 10cm).
I wanted a water birth, did not have the time to run the bath, she was there in a couple of pushes and I only had a little tear with 1 stitch.

So much easier and calmer. First was 2 days with 3 hours of pushing & forceps, episiotomy and PPH. Second was 4 hours, 11 minutes of pushing, water birth. It definitely felt like my body knew what to do the second time.

Way easier. Also he was back to back which is supposedly more painful šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø way less painful and far quicker than number 1. You got this šŸ’Ŗ

Induction?

Anyone been induced before? Was it more painful? Better than thought? Worse than thought? Worth it? Thoughts?

My daughterā€˜s name is valentýna and I’m struggling to find other nice girl and boy names beginning with V I’ve got a few and I’ve got loads that aren’t beginning with V, but I feel like I wanna go for all vs and I also love girl and boys names that match so because my daughter’s name is valentýna I would love to call my son Valentino my husband does not agree 😃

Induction or c section?

As a last resort, would you rather be induced or have a planned c section?

Really not liking the thought of being induced from people’s experiences I’ve read!

Almost 37 weeks + told to do another growth scan

I just had my second to last doctor’s appointment this morning, and my OB told me she wants me to do another growth scan because my belly is measuring small. She says it’s probably just because I’m a smaller woman, but they like to be safe. It’s hard to hear though, since I just did one a couple months ago.

I did this with my firstborn around this time of pregnancy, so I do think I just carry smaller (even though I don’t feel like I look ā€œsmallā€ at all). My first baby was 6lbs 15oz when she was born at 41 weeks + 2 days. I’m having this baby at 39 weeks on April 7. I hope she’s still at least 6lbs.

Anyone have any stories similar to this?
