I had to ask for mine last time, just ended up popping in to see a midwife and they provided me it quickly, doesn’t take long. If you have an appointment just remind them or if your work want it sooner maybe give them a quick call?

I had to go and collect mine from my local midwifery centre. It was available after 20 weeks. For some reason they were no longer giving them out at the hospital.

I got mine at my 25week midwife appt last pregnancy. Expect to get it in a similar timeframe this time round.

If you need it earlier for work, you can often request it and they’ll prepare it for you and leave it at the hospital or somewhere for you to pick up.

My midwife told me mine would be available at my next appointment at 25 weeks

My local midwife is giving me mine at my 25wk appointment, Im not able to get it before hand🤷🏽‍♀️

My work requires it before 25 weeks so I had to contact my midwife. She done it straight away and left it for me to collect so I think they're fine if you need to contact them for it before your 25 week appt

I got mine at my 20 week scan

My midwife said she'll give it to me at my next appointment (28 weeks), but if my employer asks for it sooner to email her and I'll be able to pop in and pick it up

You can wait till your next appointment but if you need it speak to your midwife she will send it to you

I asked yesterday my midwife to leave it for me with receptionist.

You can collect it from 20 weeks. Call up or let the midwife clinic know you want to collect it, so theyre able to sign it for you.

The 25 week appt you usually get it, I was told. It should be ok to present to work then, as the cut off date to inform work of your leave is around this time. If you need it earlier, you can call and they will leave it at reception or some can leave at GP surgery if easier for you!

I needed it earlier for work so I called my GP and they sorted it out. Can be another option if your GP is closer and don’t want to have to head back to the hospital to get it from the midwife

I got mine at 20weeks I sent an email to my midwife and it was posted to my house

I had to request it they don’t do it until first appointment after 21 weeks
