How do you know if it’s PP bleeding still or your period?

Not had my period back yet, however I’m 5 weeks pp and my bleeding has now stopped, it has for a few days, so when my period returns I’ll know it’s that. I know for some the period sort of follows straight on from the pp bleeding so may not always be obvious but by the time your period returns, your pp bleeding should be at little to none anyway and definitely not bright or dark red anymore, where as period would be xx
