Best of luck. My girl came at 35+1. Waters broke and then contractions started and I had her a few hours later. No NICU time but we do have to stay in hospital for 3-5 days.
I was not prepared, I had a half packed bag and stuff everywhere.

Good luck! I thought prepping for 35-36 weeks was going to be organised but might get packing too. X

oh wow! So happy that baby girl had such a great outcome. Gives me some hope too. Hope you guys continue to do really well and get home soon xxx

Thank you for all your lovely messages/ well wishes. We had a feeling she would arrive early due to some cervix issues (early dilation). But surprisingly, the checks just indicated that she must just be ready to rock and roll 😂😂😂 Completely spontaneous/ random. no infections etc., and cervix is actually still closed 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thankfully she’s at a good gestation and I’ve had steroids. Hopefully we’ll have short uneventful NICU stay (if any as she’s otherwise healthy/good weight!)

Hope your babies stay cooking a bit longer 💕💕

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
