Anyone experienced this before?

Hi friends!
I’m a second time mom with a baby girl due in October. Yesterday I bled randomly with clots - I’m 28 weeks pregnant. I went to the hospital for labor and delivery. They monitored the baby, did an ultrasound and checked my cervix. Ultrasound showed baby moving, thankfully and everything marked good. She did tell me I’m one centimeter dilated already but my cervix is long and thick. They tested me for infections such as yeast and/or BV because they said this can be the cause of bleeding? I’m just a bit worried and confused because the amount of blood and clots was pretty concerning. Has anyone ever experienced this and been dilated this early at 28weeks?

I hadn’t experienced the blood clotting but I am 25 weeks today. On Monday I had a routine check up w the doctor and was having bad back pain. She did an ultrasound and baby looked good but she noticed my cervix was a little thinner than she’d like. So she did a cervical check and I was dilated about a finger tip. She admitted me to the hospital for preterm labor symptoms and the next day I was dilated a centimeter. But they kept me and baby monitored abs I was able to go home Wednesday night with no more symptoms

Well ur cervix shouldn’t be dilated at all that’s for sure and not normal at 28 weeks I just got one yesterday and cervix should be closed, maybe pre term labor? Not sure but if they doctors said you’re okay to go home I wouldn’t worry to much about it the blood clotting could be from the cervix opening as it’s a pretty sensitive area, even cervix checks cause it to bleed , did you have sex? I also don’t agree with there statement along with the bv and yeast infection, that all would not cause blood clotting but definitely could cause light bleeding for sure but then again I’m not a professional and everyone’s body is different! Hope all is well update us

Pregnancy after c section

What time scale did everyone get pregnant again after a c section?
I know the doc said they recommend eating at least a year to 18 months but it took 4 years to get pregnant the first time after being told we could not conceive naturally so not wanting to stop it happening knowing it could take a very long time again but also worried.

Hospital bag (UK)

What did everyone pack for their section? I'm staying in for 3 days due to mental health, not really sure what I'll need to bring, feeling very nervous. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Labour

Think im a bit confused really, i went into traige as was having contractions eveey 3-5mins. Since being here im now having them every 2-3mins which was confirmed with the machine and i think the toco was 90-100 and they feel painful and my lower back is in loads of pain but apparently im only just over 2cm dilated maybe, she has said i can stay here for a bit longer to see if things progress as had a previous quick birth as well but i dont understand why the pains are coming this quick if im only 2cm dilated and feel a bit deflated from it also.

I had a sweep this morning also.
