Hiya! My baby has been measuring below the 10th percentile since 20 weeks and I've had countless Dopplers, monitoring with CCG belts & growth scans, and he's finally around the 10th percentile mark (his legs are below the 5th which could be genetic as I'm 5ft, or could be a chromosomal / genetic disorder).
My c section is next Wednesday on the 37 week date, however no one's spoken to me about collecting colostrum. I know it can cause early labour, and due to me haemorrhaging after a loss last year, and various other health complications, a natural birth is not advised.
Has anyone been told to wait til your baby's here to collect colostrum, or is it ok for me to try to get some now I'm 36 weeks? I want him to have as much goodness as possible if he's going to be teeny!
