Ultrasound at 6w6d

I want to have an early scan done and will be 6w6d. They advised an internal transvaginal scan at early stage is much more clear and accurate but I'd prefer to have a normal ultrasound. The earliest I've ever had one is 7w3d with my first pregnancy so does anyone know if a normal ultrasound would show at 6w6d or whether I should be signing the consent form for a transvaginal scan?

I had a normal early scan for my first pregnancy and it showed up but I have had an internal one for cysts and they’re honestly not even bad. I would ask them to do the normal scan but be prepared for the internal. Honestly you can see way more and it’s pretty cool!

Is it harmful or risky in any way? I feel very anxious and not sure how I feel about having the internal one

Totally not harmful! The probe looks really long and invasive but they only put a wee bit in and I didn’t even feel it. They popped a blanket over my legs and just slipped it in without even looking or touching, so really respectful too.

Oh okay! I called them and said I would prefer a normal ultrasound but will consider the TVS if it doesn't show anything. I've tracked my periods for years and I tracked ovulation for the 4 cycles that we tried so im hoping my days are pretty accurate and that ill be far along enough to see something on the ultrasound! X

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Invited to a chuckie cheese party but I don't have money and don't want to tell my daughter that's why we can't go. Does anyone know how their parties work?

I'm not sure how chuckie cheese parties are. If they give you money to play or not if you're in the party. And then I'm wondering if it's an actual birthday party or if they're just going to chuckie cheese. Some guy in my building told me a couple weeks ago that his son's birthday is today and he's thinking of doing chuckie cheese. They sent an invite but I feel so insecure not being able to afford anything. Like if they don't have food for example. Idk what to do.

20week scan!!

i had my 20week scan yesterday, everything looked okay on baby and we found out the gender!! it’s a girl 🩷🩷. but they said that my placenta is too close to my pelvis and they need to do extra scans to check on it? has anyone else been told this?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
