Nipple piercings

It’s most likely just part of the healing (although after having them for 10 year I’m not sure if they will fully heal).
What your describing sounds like the sebum you get in any piercing normally, like your ears after wearing earring for a long time or I get it in my septum if I wear a hoop for a while (septum stench as it’s lovingly called).
I had my nips done and retired over 5 years ago and they have fully healed but my left nip still pushes out a small out of sebum every other day.
I worried it was milk too to begin with but it doesn’t have the right consistency and even if it was it wouldn’t smell as you’re saying yours does.
Still go see a piercer or medical professional if you are in any doubt but I wouldn’t be worried, just the joys of piercings and babies.
Also depending where you were pierced anatomically on your nipples you might have a triple flow due to the holes, something to keep an eye out for especially if you’re planning on breast feeding

ah amazing thank you so much! Both my nipples we’re pierced differently which is annoying one is light so far back it’s behind my actual nipple more so my areola where it’s flat. The other straight through the actual middle 😭 (different piercing places I went to) so not too sure how it all works if I’m honest im a FTM. But what you explained makes perfect sense! Intrigued to see how the milk will flow though or if it will as I deffo want to try exclusively breast feeding first and if it works stick to this (my first preference) obviously if I can’t then I can’t. If you have any doubts or concerns when your little one arrives the feeding team at your mat hospital will be able to keep you right, only potential “issue” I could see is if you do have a triple flow you might have to find alternative feeding positions just so that you milk doesn’t come out in a flood and overwhelm baby but as I said the feeding team will be able to help you with that
You always have the option to pump if the flow is too strong etc too

I have got a pump as I didn’t want to get sore so got a pump to get excess milk out if it happened. I don’t mind pumping also I just really want to try him on breast milk first before formula if it’s possible for me. Thank you for your advice it’s super helpful xxx

I took mine out and I've leaked milk out the holes since 20w pregnant. Sometimes its thicker because its dried but it doesn't haven't a smell. I'd just keep the area cleaned regularly and dont squeeze x
