Thinking of leaving but I’m a stay at home mom.

I’m starting to think more and more that I feel like I made a mistake marrying my husband. I love him but feel like I’m starting to fall out of love with him. The more times we go silent towards each other the more I’m not caring. I know what I deserve. And everyone knows when they have upset someone but when he upsets me he’s fine with going days before trying to fix it or offering an apology or seeing what’s wrong. I’m always the person that has to come and fix the situation and I’m just getting tired. I couldn’t care less anymore at this point I just know I married a negative angry person. That’s not who I am. Does anyone else that’s been a stay at home mom left their husband?

I’m feeling the same way..don’t you have family near by or any people to help you?

I moved across the state and met my husband so I left everyone behind. My dad lives here but he just lost his wife so I don’t want to be an additional burden at the moment. So I’m pretty alone. I’m sorry you are feeling the same way I know it sucks.

Would you like to message me to vent things?

I’d try and get a remote job if possible. Or start working part time as a server, that’s the easiest way to squirrel away money.
Or if you really can’t work open a secret bank and savings and start pulling out cash or buying things then returning them for cash and put that in your secret account.
If you have family you can move in with, when you’re ready to go that’s great if not, keep saving till you can get you and your babies into an apartment/shelter and feed and take care of them for at least a month and a half. If you can make sure you have a full time job when you’re transitioning from his house to your new one.

It just depends on how secretive you wanna be. If he’s a good guy he’d want the mother of his children and his children to have a stable home and make sure they’re fed. When my parents divorced the courts made them get one apartment and every other week they’d transition from being at the house with us or their shared apartment.
That way the kids stayed home.

If you think you could have the conversation, “I want a divorce but I need time to get my life together” and he’s a good guy maybe yall can coexist till you get things in order. If not keep it a secret till you’re good to leave. Best of luck mama.

Yup I've been in the same situation. Negative, angry fiancé. Thank God I didn't have to go through legal stuff in order to leave. It's not an easy choice....but when you know what you deserve and you know you need to go and you know you're the only one holding the relationship together....you'll know and you'll leave. Or you'll forever be trapped.
Leaving my fiancé is still fresh and quite painful but I'm glad I did it. I couldn't put up with his negativity and immaturity anymore. Having my daughter and child on the way gave me the strength and reason to get up and go. I know he's a poor father figure as well. If I didn't leave for my own sake and all the heartache and verbal abuse he put me through, I could leave for their sake because I don't want them to grow up seeing a terrible example of a grown man.
Thank God I also have my parents to live with because if I didn't I think the loneliness and financial burden would be almost unbearable. I still mourn the relationship that I and my fiancé don't have,

but I recall all the things he said and did.....ive even written a lot of it down, and when I start missing him I reread what I wrote....and I remember just exactly was so bad about my day to day with him.

I’m honestly feeling this way. I’m a stay at home mom, I love my husband but for the last year things have been complicated and it seems to be getting more complicated. I’m not saying I’m a perfect wife but my husband has changed. We argue and fight, disagree on parenting styles, and ofc there is more to the story. I just dont know what to do anymore. I have to put my daughters in wellbeing first..

Marriage falling apart after kids? 😢

The last 3 and a half years I have spent either pregnant or breastfeeding and co sleeping with my kids breastfeeding throughout the night. My husbands taken over and he takes the kids to sleep every night now and instead of me breastfeeding my youngest all night I now sleep in a separate room alone. My husband co sleeps with them and she sleeps so much better with him. With me she’d constantly be waking up for milk. I get to sleep better but the whole sleeping in different bedrooms to my husbands been so weird it’s been over a month now of me sleeping alone and something just doesn’t feel right. Feels like so much distance between us.

Moving to Scotland

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice and insight.

My partner and I are planning a big move to Edinburgh, as he’s hoping to open a restaurant there. I genuinely love Scotland the atmosphere, the scenery, and the people always seem so warm and friendly whenever I visit.

However, I do have some concerns. I’m Black British, and I have a daughter who will be starting secondary school around the time we move. Naturally, as a mum, I want to make sure she feels safe, supported, and accepted in her new environment.

I’d really like to hear honest experiences what is it like for Black families living in Edinburgh, especially when it comes to schools? Have you or your children experienced any racism, and how is it generally handled?

Also, my daughter is very passionate about track and field, so I’d love recommendations for secondary schools with strong athletics programs or good sports facilities. Any tips on clubs, teams, or supportive communities for young athletes would be amazing too.

Overall, I’m excited about the move, but I just want to make the best decision for my daughter and ensure she has a positive experience.

Thank you so much in advance 💛

Holiday suggestions - 3 year old and 10 month old

We would like to do a lovely all inclusive holiday in September with our 10 month old and 3 year old. Ideally not a really long flight considering their ages and would a bit of luxury as it will be to celebrate my 30th. Any recommendations? Thank you

Have i normalised bad behaviour?

Hey all, today i reversed the car a little too much while trying to get out of tight parking and ended up scratching the car.

We have 2 cars, i drive the bigger one as im pregnant and its a lot more confortable right now.

My first thought was "shit, hes gonna be so mad! I fucked up" Now im stressed to tell him.

I wanted to ask, is this really normal? Should i be freaking out about telling my husband? I feel like a child, but hes not my parent. Surely its not normal to feel this way about your spouse? Have i just grown to believe this is normal?
