C section birth!

I gave birth on 8/22/2025, around 10pm. After being in active labor all day, I couldn’t dilate any further than 8cm and was recommended to get a c section for my and baby’s health. The recovery stage is DEFINITELY different. Pain is something for sure, and I had a few complications towards the end of the procedure. Yesterday I was offered to get something done called a nerve block and it helped out a lot. Now just trying to get used to moving around and being careful with incision while attending to baby. I am absolutely in love with my daughter, she is beautiful 🥹 I am absolutely over the moon and everything I went through was worth it! I am one and done tho, no more kids for me lmaoooo 😭 I wish all the August moms happy and safe delivery’s ❤️❤️❤️ thanks for all the support! This app has been so helpful throughout my pregnancy.

With my oldest son I labored for 29 hours and then had a c-section because I couldn’t get past 8cm. If you haven’t already ask or get a belly band it will help a lot. Also when getting home kinda sleep upright a little bit because that helps when you have to get up and if you can tie a sheet with knots through it on the bottom of your bed frame to use to help pull yourself up when getting out of bed. I just had my second baby from another c-section on 8/8 and this time the recovery had been so much easier.

Day out after c section

Hey,
I had an emergency c section 1 week ago I obviously don't want a day out right now but I have things booked for the Easter holidays so in 2 weeks. I was just wondering if I will be overdoing it if I have a day out then or will I be ok? I would still take it as easy as I could. When did everyone feel good enough to go out?

Reduced Movements

Has anyone else gone in for monitoring for reduced movements and as soon as you arrive at triage the baby starts moving and the CTG is normal? It makes me feel like I am over reacting.

2nd pregnancy after c section

I’m not planning on getting pregnant anytime soon but in the future possibly. I just wanted to know how is pregnancy after c section like my fear is having to go through another emergency operation or even putting strain on my incision during pregnancy

Newborn stage

Is anyone tired of doing the same thing everyday and being on a 2-3 hour schedule? It’s the same everyday and I feel like I’m losing my mind. It’s making me depressed even if I get out once a day. When does it get better? I feel like I’m just waiting for the next stage where it’s not just sitting around all day.
