I am actually finding this stage so much easier than anything after the newborn 12 weeks. Im exhausted but its fun, shes chatty and so many new skills. But i see how others might struggle 🥰

For me newborn stage was so very hard, each stage since has been easier and easier. She now has daily tantrums but I still prefer it to newborn. I love how communicative she’s become and how much we can do with our day less ruled by naps… however I am 4 months pregnant and so anxious about the new dynamic and how things might change 🥴 and my lack of energy has left me feeling like a subpar parent when she is simply the light of my life.
it will be fine because it has to be but I’m scared about our bond changing and not having as much time for my girl xxx

Clingy to me for a couple of days and some tantrums happening. Otherwise, she is a joy, personality is showing, I love watching her toddling around and wouldn't change it other than her feeding habits. Love the relationship with her brother.

I’m finding this by far the easiest and most rewarding stage so far. He sleeps through now which makes a huge difference and loving how we can communicate with each other and watching him play and interact with other children

It’s a nice stage; but the tantrums and behaviours are hard!!!! Some days are a breeze others I struggle x

Agree with all the posts above that they are in such a fun age now despite the tantrums😅 But just to say that we are still not sleeping through the night (i can count on one hand our little boy has slept through) and combo of sleep regression and separation anxiety has been ...not as fun. So definitely a lot of ups and still some downs

I actually find this stage - 14-20m ish - the hardest. I call it the curious and furious stage!!
My little boy is into everything, has no sense of danger, can’t be reasoned with as well as an older toddler and is so frustrated by knowing what he wants but not being able to articulate it. It’s an amazing stage but hard all at the same time. I know this phase will pass though :) for me, everything gets a bit easier when they’re sleeping through and able to communicate :)

I LOVE this stage. I’ve got a very easy girl and she is a delight. So smiley and happy, loves making friends with people when we go out who all fawn over her. Loves animals, pointing out excitedly at every dog and cat and bird she sees. Loves books and reading, pointing out animals. She’s so cute and fun.

Bitter sweet, love his little personality but OH MY WORRRRD the clingyness, the tantrums, the biting and hitting. 🤦🏼♀️ I am just about surviving 🤣

I’m struggling!! 4 weeks into a 18 month regression. Will not transfer into his cot on a night time, if he hears me going to bed he’s up screaming. So ends up on with me because I work full time and I have 0 energy in me to fight💔 used to sleep 7-7 and self soothe

Since 18 months finding it a struggle again just simply because of the tantrums, its not enjoyable to go anywhere 😭 feel like 12-18months was the best. She's also not sleeping well again
But love her personality, so bitter sweet as a few have said

I feel this!!
