I’ve been out as bisexual for a long time, obviously have been in hetero relationships and just recently had a baby with, shocker, a man. It has not worked out between us for a variety of reasons. I’ve found myself wishing that I was lesbian, fantasizing about being single so that I could explore my interest in women, and just straight up admitting to my friends that I’m pretty sure I’m full gay “except for (boyfriend)” which I’m now realizing is probably compulsory hetero. Now that we’re broken up I really want to identify as lesbian but I don’t know how to even approach the community with such a small baby right now. I don’t even really want to seriously date I just want to be out and explore what that means for me…

There are so many single lesbians with kid(s). It’s totally okay. But download an app or join fb groups and go from there

Good for you for being true to yourself. There are some of us out here in the world with little kiddos! “Queer” has fit best for me over the years, but know you’re not alone on this journey

Welcome to the club! I didn’t realize til 30 years old and 3 kids later that it’s entirely not normal to assume that all women are just tolerating being repulsed by man parts. Apparently that’s not true and straight women actually enjoy that lol. Whoops. I’ve been with my girlfriend for 7 months (happily!) and can honestly say I don’t think I was ever really straight, just couldn’t stand the thought of something being “wrong with me.” Nothing is wrong with me and I’m living my best gay life with my kids who love seeing me happy!

I came out as bi at 11. Married a man and had three kids. I came out as a lesbian after my divorce at 33. Comphet is real. There's a whole community in the same boat.

same I’ve been bi my whole life but after this being my first “real” relationship with a man I’m not too fond of it lol. But after my ex wife I told myself I would give it a try and it’s not what it’s all cracked up to be 😅
ugh this is so relatable. I too just assume all women tolerate men and their terrible qualities and parts for unknown reasons. Looking back now it’s like why did we do that 🤣
I downloaded it yesterday 🫣 I feel like I’ll be judged for having a baby and especially for not being able to casually date because I have no one to watch my son.

I just want to say as someone who didn’t realize I was a lesbian until I after I had kids… welcome to the late in life lesbian community!! It’s definitely an exciting time!! I came out as a lesbian a couple years ago now! If you ever want a friend to talk to my inbox is always open! 🫶🏻

Just because you have a small child under 1 does not scream “Hey, I’m not into women “…….some women only want the baby & kinda don’t prefer the Dad afterwards , I’ve seen it numerous amount of times so go be happy where it counts.
