My 13 week old is so active in her sleep and ends up rolling to her side while she is sleeping. If we are contact napping she usually stays still, but when she is in her crib or next to me on the bed, she ends up on her side. When I try to put her back on her back she either wakes up or starts being super active again and ends up on her side again 😭
She doesn’t roll to her side independently while she’s awake so that’s why I’m not sure if I should just let her be or keep trying to put her back on her back?
It’s so scary, cos, while she’s on her side, when she tenses up because of her tummy pain from reflux, she turns her neck inwards (so her face goes into the bed) I’m scared she will stay asleep in that position and struggle to breathe.
Any advice?
Also, when does the active sleep stop so I can relax a bit?! 😭
Thank you in advance x

You don't need to move her. Just make sure the cot is safe and empty. She's got enough neck strength to safely sleep this way x

I was always told if they get themselves into a certain position then its fine just make sure its a safe space and that you originally put them down on back xx my lb has only just settled down a bit in the last coupl3 of months with active sleep and hes 15 months 🙈 xx

My 12 week old started rolling a few weeks ago, everytime I wake up she’s on her side face up against the side of her next to me. I move her on her back, back to the middle. Within an hour she’s wriggled and rolled straight back to that position! It’s breathable mesh, so I’m not worried!

Thank you all for the advice 🥰🥰
