7m+ naps and sleep

I know babies may be transitioning from 3 naps to 2 naps now and wanted to find out what this looks like?
- how long are wake windows
- how long are naps
- what is typical bed time and wake up time for the day
- what helped you transition to two naps

Depends on when my baby wakes up but typically if he woke at 7am it would look like this:
2.5/3 hour wake window so first nap probably 9.30/10am
Nap would be an hour and 20 mins so end 11/11.30 then another 3 hours to 3.5 hour wake window.
Next nap 2/2.30 and this one is an hour to an hour and a 20mins so wake up around 3/3.30. Then an 3.5/4 hour wake window for a 7pm bed.

This doesn’t always happen, we get earlier rises and shorter naps but I’ve found with the afternoon if he sleeps to 2.30pm at the earliest I can stretch him to 6.30pm for an early bed and still be on 2 naps.

we are pretty much the same as this! Sometimes it doesn’t always go to plan though if he wakes up from naps early, in which case we do a 15 min ‘bridging nap’ around 4.30 x

Mine seems to have dropped her afternoon nap, which is absolutely infuriating. Her last nap she wakes around 1.30pm, then by 5pm shes screaming to go to bed, and it's impossible. She wakes around 6am, is normally having a nap by 8/8.30am until 9am. Then back to sleep at 11.30 am. Waking around 1/1.30. I have offered her the afternoon nap, and she's having none of it. Put her to bed at 6 pm yesterday because she was falling asleep sat up, and then she was awake from 10pm- midnight. Then awake at 4 am, then up at 6.

yeah we are the same and if we are out and about at the weekend and he needs a later bedtime we also do a bridge nap

So with every nap we dropped it just happened naturally i.e. her wake window just extended as she wasn’t tired enough.
Currently we have a 3h/3h/4h as wake windows. Nap one has now started to get longer and it’s 1h45 (previously ranged from 45mins to 1h30). Nap two is 45mins.
Wake up time is between 6am and 7am and then bedtime falls between 6pm and 7pm depending on naps etc.

Should I be concerned or am I overthinking?

My little boy is 15 months old, he’s recently taken his first steps and he says mamma and dadda and baba (he has said these for months) we’ve filled out the paperwork for his 12-14 month review and it looks like he isn’t meeting many of his milestones.

He doesn’t copy actions, point, clap etc. He doesn’t react when being spoken to, or to his name. He actively avoids eye contact.

He was so unresponsive to sound that we just had his hearing tested concerned he was deaf. They found that he could hear so he is just choosing not to react to any noises or sounds.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with their little ones? Should I be raising this with the health visitor and ask to be assessed for neurodivergent issue or a social communication problem like autism?

I don’t want to just slap a label on him, but I do feel that there are real concerns. All opinions welcome!!

Routines?

When did you start to introduce your baby’s routine? Do they just have a night routine or full day routine? Wondering when I should start this e.g naps at the same time everyday.

Any routines you have that work for you, please let me know them with timestamps. my baby is 6 weeks and just wondering when we should start them?

Does anyone else’s baby spit up breastmilk but not formula?

I’m seriously considering seeing a lactation consultant because I don’t understand why he can’t hold down breastmilk but can formula. I use soy formula since I’ve used it with my daughter and I’m thinking it might be due to not getting milk coming in for a few days so I had no choice but to give him formula, but now even if I take breaks in between feeding him breastmilk to burp or try to mix breastmilk and formula, he spits it up sooo much. I’m ready to just give him just formula because I’m worried about him not eating enough

Bed time tips for 8 week old

So I literally cannot get my 8 week down to sleep before 11:30pm every night no matter how early we start our routine. We tend to do bath every second night but every night consists of feed, up to bed, into pjs, book, feed to sleep. We could start this routine at 7 and it would still be the case of not selling til 11:30.

She doesn’t nap during the day well, we get a 30 minute in the morning, and a 1 hour in the afternoon only if I’m out the house. She’s never distressed when she’s awake all that time, quite the thing being nosey and having cuddles. She’s EBF and her feeds all through the day are LONG and last from 30-45 mins each feed.

Any tips/advice recommended on how to get to bed earlier or just how to get her to sleep in general.
