Naps

My 10 month old was on 2 naps aday his last one he wakes up at 4:30 and goes to bed at 8:30 the health visitor said he’s overtired by bedtime (he’s a bad sleeper) and 4 hours is to long for him to be awake

How many naps do your baby have and what wake window time from there last nap to bedtime?

Mine used to wake up at 7.30am, nap 9.30 - 10.30am and then nap 1-3pm and then bed at 9pm.
Now she wakes up about 8am and doesn't sleep at all during the day (even though she's shattered) and goes to bed about 9pm...
Missing the time she used to nap but I have run out of ways to get her to try and sleep during the day!

We’re on 2 naps per day. 3.5- 4 hours is pretty standard for last wake window for this age from what I saw online. We generally do 4 hours awake before bed and have no issues with overtiredness x

My little boy is 10 months and we are on 2 naps a day. His last nap wakes around 2:30-3:00 and he will go to bed around 7:00-7:30 each night.

Yeah depends on what time he wakes up from his last nap really. Like today 4.30 he woke so put down 7.30.

But days I have to get my girl fr
Nursery I have to wake him 3.20; then he goes 7pm x

My girl is awake 4 hours before bed. Pretty normal for this age! We’re on 2 naps. Wake at 7 first nap 3 hours later at 10 for an hour. Second nap 3.5 hours later at 2.30 until 4 then bedtime at 8

We’re on 2 naps a day. On an ideal day he wakes from his last nap at 2:30 and goes to bed for the night at 6/6:15pm and wakes up again at 6am.

I honestly think it depends on the baby. We are also on 2 naps, but he has quite a short last wake window which I know seems to be pretty unusual, but it works for us. He can do 4-5 hours on his previous wake windows, but sometimes only 1.5 hours for his last one 🤷🏼‍♀️ and he sleeps well overnight.

Like I said he seems to be quite unusual in that, but could be worth trying something different if your little one isn't sleeping well?

4 hours is a fairly normal wake window for this age group so I’m surprised they’ve said that! Have you tried a shorter wake window to see if it does make any difference?

Our last wake window is 4-4.5 hours but he is a good sleeper and sleeps through the night from 7.30am - 6/6.30am. If we are at home he naps 9/9.30-11am and then 2/2.30-4ish Since going to the childminder his nap schedule has changed though so I’m worried this may affect him but we’ll have to wait and see 🤷‍♀️

Mine is on two naps a day, both for around 1hr to 1hr30, last one finishes at 3:45, bed is around 7:30, she has 1-2 wakes in the night. Still a bit of crying at bedtime but not too bad x

11 months this week.
Our little one sleeps 7pm-7am.
He has 2 naps.
One at 10am for 30 mins
Second one at 1:30 for 1.5/2 hours
I try and keep him awake for at least 4 hours before last nap and bedtime. X

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
