Nap refusal

10 months (11 on the 1st) has been refusing his 2nd nap for the past few days even though he is clearly tired… does this mean I should drop to 1 nap and make his morning nap later!? He seems too young 🥲

If he is clearly tired then not necessarily. How long is his first wake window normally? I think if they can get close to 4 hours before their first nap then maybe. You can give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes. Sometimes it’s just a regression. If he is dropping the nap, that’s not necessarily a bad thing though and lots of babies do do it earlier than a year.

It’s usually 3 hours

My 10 month old had a few days like that recently. I find some days are inexplicably different and then things go back to "normal" all by themselves. They are the boss babies after all lol.

How long is his first nap? What I noticed with my LG is that if her first nap goes over 1.5 hours, then the 2nd nap is either cut short or refused entirely. Maybe consider adjusting the first nap if it's lengthy.

It's probably too early to drop to 1 nap though. I think they say that's for between 12-15 months or so.

First nap anywhere between 45mins & 2hrs 🤣 he does what he wants!

My boy turned 10m yesterday and he only had one nap today, he’s been doing it for a few weeks, sometimes we’ll get two but most of the time he has one x

We have 1 nap for 2 weeks approx. Works well for us. Baby will not even blink when he would be due his 2nd nap. He was ready. He's 10, 5 months old

Mine turned 10m two days ago and has been on one nap for about a month and a half 😂 it’s not as uncommon as the internet makes it seem and makes us all think something’s wrong

My 10 month old has been refusing his 2nd nap for a few days now too. Today he wouldn’t go down at all. So he had a 8 hour wake window after his morning nap until bedtime 🫠🫠🫠 going to try adjusting his schedule to one nap tomorrow to see how it goes x

that’s what happened to me today! He woke up at 12 from his nap and refused the second nap, he was an absolute nightmare to get to sleep at 7 for bedtime because he was so tired 🥲

We’ve been having 1 nap most days for a while now. It’s usually about 2 hours.

My 10 month old only has 1 nap some days.
Today she woke up at 8:30, napped 11:45-2 so there wasn’t enough time for a second nap. We just brought bedtime forward to 6:45 instead of 7 as she was getting very tired but she managed the longer wake window pretty well! X

Hi ya'll

Is anyone else's 4 month old randomly screeching now? I'm not sure what to do and she's been doing this for the past two days. She's usually a quiet happy baby so im not sure why she's doing this now. Aby suggestions?

Breastfeeding

Does it ever feel better? The actual feeding part of it is going really well and baby boy is growing so well. I’m struggling with how my boobs feel day to day - it’s really getting me down most days. The let downs make me feel awful and sounds silly but, I am also really missing not wearing a bra! 9 weeks postpartum and still getting fairly engorged, even with comfort pumping.

Any advice or just shared stories would help. I’m so torn between carrying on because I enjoy the feeding side of it or switching to formula.

Help! First time mum -

I have a 4 month old and now all of a sudden when he’s been asleep for 1hr30/2hrs he will wake up screaming (high pitched) I’ve tried winding him sometimes that helps, I’ve tried bicycle legs & bringing his knees up but that doesn’t seem to help but he brings his knees up himself sometimes but nothing happens. I’ve noticed since the 4 month mark he has started to struggle passing wind downwards! Any tips?

Big nursing bras!

I’m looking for recommendations for good nursing bras for bigger breasted ladies!

I’m currently in a 38H which seems to be the biggest size done at M&S (UK based mama here) and it’s snug and not as supportive as I’d like. When I look online, they mainly seem to be sized S, M, L, XL etc rather than bra sizes.

Any recommendations please?

Strange question

Hello. I would identify myself as asexual but yes i am married and i have a child. But now that ive had my baby. I think its solidified that im done having sex. I feel bad as my partner keeps asking me but i just dont want to. Any advice on what i can do? Any other asexual moms out there? I guess this could be confusing but im not huge on being bound by a label. I have just always felt it represented me best since highschool.
