Hey mamas
Any advice on how I can get my 6 week old to sleep longer at night?
He usually sleeps from 7pm till 10pm or 11pm, that’s the longest stretch and then he wakes up every hour after that. During the day he can sleep on my mom cozy carrier for hours. also he does not sleep on his bed for the life of me.
He has been very gassy the past week or so, every time he sleeps he is growling and squealing to let out farts.

My 7 week old is very similar but I found making sure he is warm enough helped. We're using a 2.5 tog sleeping bag, vest and baby grow at the moment. He sleeps in his cot 7-11pm then on us for the rest of the night. I think it's just a phase

We’re the same! I get a 2 hour stretch and then I have to have him on me otherwise we’re every hour or not at all 😭

Infacol and gripe water, leg exercises and belly massages should help with the gassiness and help baby settle. I find my son will only settle after it goes dark if he’s swaddled, the longest he’s slept is 6 hours in the night. Have you tried the swaddle sleeping bags?

I found bathing my baby at 7:30/8pm then giving her a warm bottle with infacol and putting her to sleep in her sleeping bag and blanket by her face (she wouldndt sleep without it). Shell sleep till 2/3:30am wake for a feed then sleep till 6am ish

I always give her 15 mins/20 mins wash and then a little baby massage

sadly not much better! 2-3 hours to start and then 1-1.5hrs or on me the rest of the night 😂🙈 slowly getting there
