Refusing bottles

My LG, who will be 8months this week coming, hasn’t taken any of her formula today. She took very little yesterday too. She normally takes between 16-21oz a day, in 3 x 7oz bottles.

She’s ate well tho. Breakfast this morning she had Weetibix with strawberries & a banana. And lunch she had an egg mayo sandwich and some yoghurt. She drinking sips of water with her meals.

I dunno if it’s weaning related or she’s maybe a little bit poorly. She had a gunky eye yesterday - fine today. And just a bit more fussy & clingy.

Anyone else experienced the same?

I’m going through the same with my baby girl I’m so so stressed I could cry!!!!
Yesterday she had a total of 5oz throughout the day. And today only 4oz roughly so far. I don’t know what to do 😭 I’m so worried about dehydration. Is your bubba drinking water?

And just to make a complete liar out of me she’s just drank 5oz 🤣😂

Theres this nasty cold going about maybe she’s coming down with that?☹️ Sorry if you’re doing this already but you could mix formula into her weetabix or anything she’ll eat, i know it won’t be much but it’s something atleast. Hoping she feels better / takes milk again soon x

I would say if she was poorly and refusing because of this then she’d have refused food too. My boy was ill and refused both. Took little amounts of milk for a few days then back to normal. Can’t see baby go hungry but milk is so so important. I’m not sure how you do it but I would maybe make sure you offer milk tomorrow before any solids and then wait a bit before offering solids even if she’s not taken any milk on the first try x

Nighttime nappies

Hi all, does anyone have recommendations for a good nappy for nights? 3 month old is sleeping in good stretches but nappies can’t keep up. Tried Aldi and pampers and now on Sainsbury’s and they are great in day but not at night?! Thanks so much

Co sleeping

Hello! What do you do to stop the baby from rolling off the edge of the bed? Out bed is quite high and LO had now learnt to roll!

Schedule/Routine

My LO is 11 weeks and I’m trying to start building a routine, as I’ve noticed her sleep varies. The last couple of days have been really difficult to get her to nap and she’s clearly tired but fights it. I’m wondering if I had more structure in our day, if it would help. She also doesn’t sleep through the night yet. Any recommendations or methods that worked for people? Or is this all normal and I just need to wait it out?

Breastfeeding

Does it actually get easier?

Two weeks postpartum and I’m exhausted. Baby is awake every 1-2 hours feeding and is EBF. I can’t sleep during day as my toddler doesn’t nap and so I feel like I’m running on fumes.
Do you get longer stretches when baby is breastfed? I’ve seen some women say they haven’t slept in years for more than two hours due to breastfeeding!

I need your help/advice

My 6 day old hasn’t done a poo for almost 72 hours now. He’s been passing wind and peeing normally. The last time I spoke to the midwife, it had been 48 hours since his last poo, and she said she wasn’t too worried and advised me to continue feeding him.

I’m calling again tomorrow, but I wanted to see if anyone has experienced something similar. We switched from formula to 100% breastfeeding about 3 days ago, and I have no idea whether he’s getting enough milk. I can see and hear him swallowing, but it’s still so confusing trying to know how much he’s actually getting.

Any thoughts or similar experiences?
